Unity Writers’ Group 2019

Come join us to create truth through our words! All types of writers (poets, fiction writers, playwrights, those composing family stories or memoir) are invited to be part of this positive, inspiring group. Both experienced and beginning authors are welcome, including people who are just thinking they might like to start writing!

The plan is for the group to meet weekly for 4 weeks to get established, then once a month. Each meeting will last about 2 hours and everyone wishing to, will get a chance to share what they have composed.

During our first meeting, those attending are invited to bring a short piece (one page or less) to read to the group. Each person will be asked to tell a little bit about themselves, why and how they are inspired.

To keep the creativity flowing, at the end of each session, group leader Joanne Clarkson, will suggest a topic those attending can choose to write about for next time, or they can work on an on-going project. She will also have a hand-out on some aspect of the writer’s craft.

All discussion of a writer’s work will be POSITIVE AND AFFIRMING. All subject matter will be confidential.
