Joanne presents the first Fall 2014 Paul Gillie Memorial Workshop sponsored by the Olympia Poetry Network.

“40 Things to Do with a Poem” is the topic for the workshop Monday, September 15, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Olympia Timberland Library.  The event is free and everyone is welcome.

From where and how to publish in print to media venues to gifts, displays, cooperative ventures, Joanne Clarkson shares ideas about how to get poetry from poet to audience.  This workshop is partly inspired by Paul Gillie himself who once wrote a wonderful poem about bread and gave it to a local bakery where it was proudly displayed for many months!
