Joanne Clarkson will read Solstice poems as part of Season’s Readings, the December 20th event sponsored by the Olympia Poetry Network.  Other Board members Terri Cohlene, Chris Dahl, Ben Olson, Cynthia Pratt and Carrie Born will also read their work. The reading begins at 6:30 p.m. at Traditions Café, 300 Water St. in downtown Olympia. An Open Mic precedes the featured reading and community poets are encouraged to also bring work having to do with winter, holidays, family, tradition, legend, solstice and the like.  The event is free.
